Best Tweet of the Year
President Donald Trump got the media all hot and bothered after he sent out a tweet showing himself clobbering a figure with a CNN logo plastered over its head. His body slamming display against the fake news media generated laughs a-plenty from Trump’s followers, although the usual suspects took exception. Styxhexenhammer666 explains the deal.
HighImpactFlix describes Trump’s work as hilarious and surveys why it is causing the mainstream media to go ape. Of course, when most reporters are akin to chimpanzees, it doesn’t take much extra effort for the press to go fully ape.
And, over at CNN, the commentators were coming unhinged. Kayleigh McEnany and Sally Kohn got heated during a panel discussion over President Trump‘s latest anti-CNN tweet. McEnany made it clear that she wouldn’t have advised Trump to tweet out that video, but she also said, “I think it was intended as a tongue-in-cheek, satirical video. Nothing serious.”
She did say that Trump has “a right to fight back” when he feels that he’s unfairly attacked in the press.
